Week 5
Monday,
Well,apparently there were still some of my classmate who refused to submit their homework on time and wasted 10 minutes because Mr Chua was scolding them.I just can't understand why some people just like to waste time letting the teacher scold them for fact that they did not submit their homework on time.Is it so hard to put one piece of paper into the basket?I hope that this does not happens again on Monday as our literature has only two period per week and our common test is coming soon.This is all I can write for Monday as I have to go for the Dry Practice at HTA so I and some of my classmates have to leave early.
Thursday,
There was another pop quiz before the lesson starts and I have to admit that it was a pretty easy one.After that,we proceed to scene 3 of Are You Lonesome Tonight?So we got to know why Elvis was being so depressed the whole time was because of the fact that his mother,Gladys,died and he had to make a choice during his past whether to be a filial son and attend his mother's funeral or be committed to his job and perform at the US Army.If I was placed in Elvis shoes,I would choose to perform rather than attend the funeral as I would rather let one person be sad rather than a whole bunch of people to be sad and angry.Too bad we have to continue the next part during the next lesson.I realize that I have learned something from this lesson.I learned that for some people,having to choose between moral choices is really hard as both have their pros and cons.Well for me,I always go with my feeling and choose the decision I'm more comfortable with.

Week 4 learning log
Monday,
Well luckily we didn't get scolded by Mr Chua this time.To start the lesson,he spent about 15 minutes asking us some questions relating to what we are learning now.I think that it's a good idea as it help us to refresh our memories and something that Mr Chua kept on reminding us,to think!Apparently there's some people who still can't answer Mr Chua's questions and I believe that our brains aren't that rusty and I'm sure that either they weren't paying attention to the lesson or they were just plain lazy,not thinking.Then,we move on to scence 2 which is about younger Presley having a conversation with his mother,Gladys.So they were talking about Elvis moving into a mansion and filling the entire mansion with chandeliers to grant his mother wish.I feel that this lesson was a little special as we got to know that Elvis really loves his mother,to the extend of fulfilling any wishes of hers.And I got to know the major difference between the younger Presley and the older Presley.The younger Presley was having fun with his life while the older Presley was being depressed, a drug addict,and being cold to his girlfriend and treating her like another crony sucking up to him.Though I kinda felt pity for him as he's pratically surrounded by cronies.

Term 3 week 2 learning log.
Thursday
Mr chua scolded some of us for not submitting our work on time and unfortunately,I'm one of them.Luckily,I did complete my work on time but I had forgotten to put them into the tray.So the lesson for the day was about...Elvis Presley!!I mean come on,seriously,who doesn't know him?He's freaking King of Rock n Roll!I bet that he's more famous than Micheal Jackson.So during the lesson,all we have learnt was some history of Elvis Presley.Unfortunately,Mr Chua couldn't play the video which features Elvis singing Blue Suede Shoes color which is actually a very nice song.But my favourite has to be Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain.
Apparently,the problem was that someone went to turn off the volume and Mr Chua was really pissed off at that time.I hoped that the person who did it would repent on what he did as I really looked forward to hearing that song....In my opinion,I really enjoy this lesson as it was about one of my favourite singer.I've got a feeling that I'm gonna enjoy the next few lessons on Elvis Presley.I'm really interested to find out what is Are You Lonesome tonight is about and why it's so legendary.

Learning log term 3 week 1
Monday
It's the first day of school and I'm just a little excited about it...After getting back from the toilet,mr Chua was scolding us for wandering outside the classroom an warned us not to do it again.After we sat down,he asked us to take out our planners or a piece of paper and we wrote down what's gonna happen for this two terms.Then we were required to pay our chairman,Ray,$o.25 each for the notes.After that,we were given a worksheet about Theatre production and stagecraft,which we were required to find out about different theatre roles from the internet.Then,we were split into four groups,Alpha,Bravo,Charlie and Delta.We were asked to write down what theatre roles we wanted on the worksheet that was given to us.Naturally,I always choose the most interesting roles.I wrote down my name on the director role as I am confident that I can lead the group and choose the best choices.I once heard that to make a good show,the director has to be both creative and be able to improvise if things don't go right.I am sure that I will be able to do that.But,things don't always go the way I wanted.......
Thursday
So apparently,some people did not pey for the notes.So Mr Chua asked those who didn't pay to stand up and ask them to give the money to Ray immediately.Mr Chua countdown from 10 to 1 and everyone was rushing to Ray and giving him the money like those aunties in the big Singapore sales.....After that,we went to the Aces gallery and we were told to choose our theatre roles.Despite the ample amount of time given to us,we weren't able to decide our roles yet.After school,we gathered at the same place and finally decided on our roles.I'm kinda angry as Hakim chose the roles for us without asking for any of our opinion.When Hakim said that I will be Romeo,I was like,"...HUH?ROMEO?!?!WHAT?!?!"But fro the sake of passing my Literature,I have no choice but to act as this guy

Term 2 Week 5
Mon,
During the lesson,Ms Maly helped us revise for our mid year exam by letting us play a quiz game called "Who wants to be a Shakespearean Millionaire".The game is very simple,just choose one of the answer out of the four you think is correct.If the answer is correct you move on to the next question.The higher amount of money,the harder the questions.But too bad we only played only a few questions because of the noise,which is expected from my class.I think that the lesson was fun but I think that the questions were too easy as most of the answer were very obvious.But at least it's a fun and relaxing way to revise for the exam without having to read the script or do any worksheet.Ms Maly also told us that she would show us the best video for the MacBeth play during the next lesson.
Fri,During Thursday,Ms Maly came into our class as a relief teacher because our History teacher didn't came that day.So,she gave us a small test about Romeo and Juliet.After finishing the test,Ms Maly go through the MCQs with us and then collected the worksheet to mark the rest.I think that the test was easy but the only question I wasn't sure was the question about the theme.On Friday,She gave us another test.This time,it was about Merchant of Venice.After all of us have finished,Ms Maly asked us to swap our paper with our classmates.After gong through some of the questions,the bell rang.She then asked us to bring the worksheet on Monday.I think that the test paper was ok as most of the question I knew how to do,except the question bout the theme.I hope that for mid year exam,it will be as easy as that.I also hope that I would pass my exam as I don't want my effort to go to waste.I wish that everyone in my class would pass their exam also but I guess that the chances are very low or near impossible.

Term 2 Week 4
Mon,
It's finally the day!Everyone was super excited and nervous about the play as we wouldn't know what would happen to us.Ms Maly asked us to push aside our tables.Then,she gave us 10 minutes to change into our costumes.Most of my female classmates rushed to the toilet to change while we boys just stay at the classroom.I quickly put on a jacket made out of black trash bag made by my classmate.Most of the groups costumes were made out of black trash bag but there were some groups which they wore dresses,etc.After everyone have finished changing,we sat down at the back of the classroom and we waited to see which group would be the first one to present their play.Unfortunately,or maybe luckily,my group was the first one to present my play.We got up and walked to the front door and waited for Mr Chua to shout the word,"action!"Before that,the three of us were planning on how to present the play later in a short while.Then,Mr Chua asked if we guys were ready and then he shouted,"and action!"We walked towards the chair and said our lines.Sadly,I stuttered during the last line.Mr Chua the asked me to be the camera man for the rest of the lesson and taught me what to do.I only need to shout"Silent n the set!"and"Action!"As the lesson was continuing,I shouted and shouted and I didn't lose my voice,Phew!I feel that this would be the most fun lesson I ever had.When I sa Ebony in her costume,I was like,"Nice!"But I wasn't surprised as that was what I'd expected from a $100+ cosplay costume.Now,I regretted that I gave my friend my Organization XIII cloak which I used to cosplay as Roxas.Sadly.Ms Maly wasn't satisfied with our performance nd asked for a re do on Friday. In my opinion, I think that my group did a fairly good job as we speak as loud as we can.I wished that my other friends could as least put in some effort into making their own costumes and remembering their lines.I'm sure that my re run on Friday will be even better.
Friday,
So we did the same thing as Monday but this time,Ms Maly asked each group to pick a number.I picked number 1 and then Ms Maly asked us to change into our costumes.I set up the mini dvd cam and the tripod.Then,it was show time!Finally,I didn't stuttered during the last line.Then ray,Kairul and me stay inside the classroom while the rest was outside waiting for their turn.Before I realized,the bell had gone off and miss Choo was waiting outside.There was a group which haven't finish et and Ms Maly asked that group to do it after school.I feel that after the lesson,my confidence and courage have been raised by a little bit as I was able to say my line and change my accent perfectly without any problem.I feel that there's no second chance in life as once you've done something wrong,the scar won't go away no matter how hard you try to remove them.That's why everyone have to work hard to in order to fulfill their dreams.

Term2 Week 3,
Mon,
So we greeted Ms Maly and she told us that our play will be postponed to Monday instead of Friday as she want to settle the file and tell us our mid year exam format.Then she ask those who need to redo the Love Brochure to hand in by the end of the lesson.Then she let us watch some videos of the Act 1 Scene 1 of MacBeth to let us have an idea of what it is all about.After watching those videos,I finally have an idea of how should I perform.I feel that the lesson was fun as we got to watch some videos and I've been excited about what accent should I use and how should I act.I wish that my team would do well as this will be graded and will contribute much to my mid year grade.
Fri,
We practically have no lesson as we were busy sorting our files.Some of my classmate said that they didn't have this or that worksheet while some said that there's no such worksheet given to us.After a while,we finally settled everything and Ms Maly told us our mid year exam format.I feel that the lesson was little tiring as it was chaotic while trying to settle the file.I rally hoped that I will do well for my mid year as it is a very important exam compared to common test.
